  5. Editors should decline assignments where there is a potential conflict of interest.

  6. Editors should ensure that manuscripts sent to reviewers do not contain information about authors, and vice versa.

Peer Review Process

Every article submitted to Jurnal Pendidikan, kesehatan dan Olahraga (JPkOR) must pass through a three-stage review process:

First Stage:
The editor will perform an initial plagiarism check using Turnitin. Manuscripts with a similarity of 25% or more will be automatically rejected. Meanwhile, manuscripts that are free of plagiarism or have similarities less than or equal to 25% will proceed to the research design stage. Manuscripts with a good research design will proceed directly to the peer review stage. Meanwhile, manuscripts that do not have a good research design will be rejected outright.

Second Stage:
The editor distributes the manuscript to the reviewers. The Jurnal Pendidikan, Kesehatan dan Olahraga (JPkOR) uses anonymous peer review. This means that the editor removes the author's identity, such as name, e-mail address and affiliation, before sending the manuscript to the reviewers. Reviewers check the content of the manuscript using the review form provided on the journal website through a special login for reviewers. They make recommendations to the Editor on the outcome of the manuscript in the form of a decision to accept, revise or reject the manuscript, which should be justified.

Third Stage:
The editor will send the results of the peer review to the author. If the manuscript requires revision, but the authors do not revise or respond, the manuscript will be rejected. If, on the other hand, the manuscript is accepted, the authors should be prepared to take their article to the final editing stage. If the revised manuscript still requires major revisions, it will be returned to the reviewers; if it requires minor revisions, the editors will review it and make the final decision. Authors are entitled to a clear explanation of any decision taken.
